The Alert School! Contest 2026/2027 is now open
The Institute for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, I.P. (IDiPD), invites all schools. students and teachers from Pre-School Education to Secondary Education, to participate in the Competition
‘School Alert!’ 2026/2027.
This initiative challenges children and young people to reflect on the rights of persons with disabilities, identify barriers that condition participation and inclusion and present solutions
innovations that contribute to building a more accessible, inclusive and Equitable for all.

Indicators for participation in the Alert School! Competition 2025/2026

In 2025/2026, 48 applications (15 from Category 1, 16 from Category 2 and 17 from Category 3) were received from 45 schools, spread across 14 districts and regions. autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira, 2281 students and 267 teachers were involved.
