A atividade mensal dos Centros de Apoio à Vida Independente (CAVI), que integram o Modelo de Apoio à Vida Independente (MAVI), é reportada ao Instituto para os Direitos das Pessoas com Deficiência, I.P., tendo por base o preenchimento das grelhas de monitorização por parte de cada uma das instituições. De acordo com as referidas monitorizações, em junho de 2026, nos 35 CAVI em funcionamento, foram apoiadas 1186 pessoas financiadas pelo ISS, I.P.. Desde o início do projeto até ao dia 30 de junho de 2026, foram prestadas um total de 7.088.890 (sete milhões, oitenta e oito mil, oitocentas e noventa) horas, das quais 3.648.286 (três milhões, seiscentas e quarenta e oito mil, duzentas e oitenta e seis) horas no âmbito do ISS acumulado aos 3.440.604 (três milhões, quatrocentas e quarenta mil, seiscentas e quatro) horas de assistência pessoal prestadas no âmbito do FSE até 30 de setembro de 2023. Em suma, no mês de junho de 2026 registou-se uma diminuição do número de pessoas apoiadas em assistência pessoal face ao mês anterior. Verificou-se uma diminuição do número de horas de apoio prestadas, embora tenha aumentado o número de assistentes pessoais em funções. Observou-se um aumento do número de PIAP suspensos, dos PIAP terminados e de novos PIAP celebrados. A partir de 1 de março de 2024 começaram a ser celebrados os Acordos de Cooperação entre os CAVI e o ISS, I.P., o que permitiu que a assistência pessoal começasse a ser prestada de acordo com o disposto na Portaria n.º 415/2023, de 7 de dezembro. A 1 de janeiro de 2025, todos os 35 CAVI tinham assinado o Acordo de Cooperação com o ISS, I.P.. As of 1 March 2024, the Cooperation Agreements between CAVI and ISS, I.P. began to be concluded, which allowed personal assistance to begin to be provided in accordance with the provisions of Ministerial Implementing Order No º 415/2023 of 7 December 2023. By 1 January 2025, all 35 CAVI had signed the Cooperation Agreement with the ISS, I.P..

No âmbito da participação de Portugal no Programa Ibero-Americano para a Deficiência (PID), representado pelo Instituto para os Direitos das Pessoas com Deficiência, I.P. (IDIPD), divulga-se a nova edição da ação de formação 'Acesso à Justiça das Pessoas com Deficiência', promovida pelo PID com o objetivo de reforçar as competências dos profissionais da área da justiça na promoção e garantia dos direitos das pessoas com deficiência.  Esta iniciativa visa reforçar as competências dos profissionais da justiça na promoção do acesso à justiça das pessoas com deficiência, através do aprofundamento do conhecimento dos instrumentos internacionais de direitos humanos e da divulgação de normas e boas práticas que contribuam para uma justiça mais acessível, inclusiva e baseada nos direitos humanos. A formação destina-se a magistrados, oficiais de justiça, juristas, advogados, solicitadores, agentes de execução, conservadores, notários, técnicos superiores da Administração Pública e outros profissionais que exerçam funções nas áreas jurídicas dos países participantes no Programa, incluindo Portugal.   A ação decorrerá em regime virtual assíncrono, entre 15 de setembro e 30 de novembro de 2026, terá uma duração total de 40 horas, será ministrada em Espanhol e em Gesto Internacional, através da plataforma educativa da editora jurídica Tirant Lo Blanch. O Instituto para os Direitos das Pessoas com Deficiência, IDiPD, participou no evento “LOADING – o 10.º Pedido de Pagamento carrega-se agora”, promovido pela Estrutura de Missão Recuperar Portugal, que decorreu no passado dia 28 de julho, na Fundação Champalimaud, em Lisboa.  A iniciativa reuniu entidades responsáveis pela execução do Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (PRR), num momento de balanço dos resultados alcançados e de preparação da fase final da sua implementação, marcada pela apresentação do 10.º e último Pedido de Pagamento. Integrando o painel “Pessoas – Saúde e Coesão Social”, Sónia Esperto, Presidente do Conselho Diretivo do IDiPD, destacou o impacto dos investimentos financiados pelo PRR na promoção da qualidade de vida das pessoas com deficiência. Durante a sua intervenção, sublinhou a importância das medidas que visam criar respostas concretas para a autonomia de todas as pessoas, melhorar a acessibilidade em habitações e em vias públicas, e garantir a participação e proximidade nos serviços públicos, reafirmando o compromisso do Instituto com a construção de uma sociedade verdadeiramente inclusiva. The Institute for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, IDiPD, participated in the event “LOADING – the 10.º Request for Payment is now loaded”, promoted by the Recuperar Portugal Mission Structure, which took place on 28 July at the Champalimaud Foundation in Lisbon. The initiative brought together entities responsible for the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), at a time of taking stock of the results achieved and preparing the final phase of its implementation, marked by the presentation of the 10.º and last Payment Request. As part of the ‘People – Health and Social Cohesion’ panel, Sónia Esperto, President of the IDiPD Steering Board, highlighted the impact of investments financed by the RRP on promoting the quality of life of people with disabilities. During his speech, he underlined the importance of measures aimed at creating concrete responses for the autonomy of all people, improving accessibility in housing and on public roads, and ensuring participation and proximity in public services, reaffirming the Institute’s commitment to building a truly inclusive society.
